How amazing is this picture? My mom’s friend took it today at Fort Snelling, where we laid my grandpa to rest in 2014. This picture makes me proud, both because of him (he is Marshall Dale Larsen, front and center), and because of those surrounding him.

Someone messaged me and asked if I was running a promotion for Memorial Day. The short answer is: no. The explanation is that this day is not about BBQ’s and sales for me. There are plenty of other holidays (literally any other holiday) that I will offer discounts. Today is not one of them.

Happy Memorial Day, friends. I hope you all got to enjoy a day off, with friends and family, BBQing your little hearts out. Be thankful for those who died and continue to die so you can.
