Tell Me A Story...

Has anyone ever listened to an audiobook that has random music and sound effects during action scenes? I am HOWLING at the dramatic sounds, screeching tires, and gunshots at random times during this book. It’s so distracting and dumb.  

This is the first one of this series that I have not purchased and read the hard copy. I don’t love hearing the characters’ voices in someone else’s voice. I’ve spent years building their identities in my head and this has ruined it all. I’m going back to a physical book to read for the next one. I can imagine the sounds of a car chase myself just fine. #zoomzoom #audiobooks #yawinsomeyalosesome
